Acredito que podemos estudar e repassar nossos conhecimentos bíblicos de uma forma diferente, devemos tornar o aprendizado cada vez mais simples e estrategicamente próximo a linguagem dos nossos ouvintes. Mudar a forma de falar sem alterar os princípios e os ensinamentos do nosso Deus.

Hey Jim, you’re right… there is a strong showing of Baptists and Great Commission believers here in the city. This is the direct result of missionaries in the past and… the present Brazilian Baptists taking full responsibility for reaching this country. God is doing an incredible work here. Still, there are so many things we can add to the mix, among them… strong teaching, all the way from discipleship to Theological Education! This is our way to help build the future on the solid foundation of God’s Word! Come join us!!! Steve

Wow! I watched the video and was amazed at the turnout that you all have seen there in Sao Paulo. I really had no idea that the presence of Baptists was so strong there! Glad to see how God is raising up an army to get the gospel out!!! Blessings, Jim

Someone once said that we need Jesus to take us into the depths of God’s character, and when we see His beauty and excellence, we will be awed and thrilled… and from the spot of awe missions will extend out to the glory of God.

I really think we have a watered down Christianity that is so inward looking that we need to be awed again by knowing God for who He is.

Just my two cents, but this is my strategy and it seems to be motivating me. Maybe it will help others too.

Dude, I was just checking your website and saw this new post. I am totally convicted. I really think that if I laid off video games and gave some serious time to prayer, God would honor that. I’m committed to being a “doer” as you said, and not just someone that hears the Bible taught on Sundays. All I can say is “ouch”.

Thank you for this insightful post. I was searching on philosophy and came across it. I had never thought about this from the standpoint of Jesus being the ultimate philosopher. Man, this makes so much sense though!
